What is Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN)?

MFN is when sellers ship and manage their own products from their facilities or 3PL partner when an order is placed on Amazon. Sellers are responsible for stocking and storing their own inventory, fulfilling their own orders, managing returns, and working directly with the customer. MFN sellers do not get the Prime badge next to their listings on Amazon.

  • Inventory management Inventory levels are updated in real-time and shared with your Shopify account. DCL Logistics’ inventory management platform alerts sellers of low inventory levels and oversold goods. 

  • All-in-one fulfillment software — Track everything from inventory to returns in our proprietary fulfillment management software. You can get freight quotes, track shipments, pull historical analytics, and schedule inventory reports to be automated to your email, all from one single platform.  

  • Distributed inventory and delivery optimization — DCL Logistics will optimize which facility each order ships from to maximize the speed of delivery and minimize the shipping costs. DCL has six facilities nationwide, enabling 2-day shipping to most regions within the contiguous US.  

  • Onsite customer service— All DCL Logistics customers gets an onsite account manager to ensure we provide the optimal customer experience. From returns management to order tracking, our dedicated team will be with you and your customers every step of the way.
