Green Fulfillment – Hype or Reality?

If you would of asked me a year ago, I would of said “hype”. But just as I jumped on the “We Believe” bandwagon of the Golden State Warriors epic playoff run a couple years ago, I would put even more money that “Green Consciousness” has far greater staying power than my beloved Warriors (thanks for screwing it up Nelson!). Green Fulfillment is now reality and figures to be even more prominent shortly. What do I mean by Green Fulfillment? Green Fulfillment is not about shipping green products, but more about a state of mind, a state of consciousness, and about companies associating their brands with everything Green. By being more Green in the supply chain, companies can inherently create “value” for their brands, which means more $$$ in the long term.

As companies examine their supply chain and fulfillment needs, they are increasingly looking for companies with a Green state of mind . DCL has taken steps towards meeting these expectations. We recently completed the second installation of our Solar panels on the rooftop of our Fremont facility and a larger percentage of our packaging is now recycled materials.
